In France and in Europe TopoSat uses its own equipment: - 4 dual-frequency Trimble GPS receivers (one of them GPS / GLONASS) for RTK and post-processing (4700, 4800, 5700 and R8) with Trimble TrimTalk and Pacific Crest radios. - 1 single-frequency GPS Trimble receiver (4000SE), carrier-phase processing - 1 Trimble GeoExplorer and 1 Trimble Juno GPS receiver for map applications - 3 total stations for additional measurements taken by conventional means When working elsewhere in the world Depending on the location, the duration of the job and local laws, TopoSat imports (clears) its equipment through ATA carnet or hires the material on site. More TopoSat has several GPS receivers designed for navigation (Holux, G-Space, Navirad, TomTom) which allow approximate positioning on a PC or PDA screen. Software TopoSat uses Trimble GPS processing software (TGO, TBC), TopStation (surveying calculation), Photoplan (image rectification) as well as several tools, among others GlobalMapper. The latter is used in the training courses for reading or writing data in most of the market's standard formats. TopoSat has also developed many tools for its own purposes, some of which are available for downloading on this website. .
